
Capt. Casey Bunton has been a Merchant Marine since 1996. He started on deck worked up to Captain so he is very familiar with all the hurdles that a mariner has to go through in or to be promoted. Capt. Bunton also worked as an unlicensed engineer for 2 years onboard a 6000 hp crew boat. He currently holds a 1600 Ton Masters Near Coastal with a 3000 gross ton international endorsement. He has 3 years experience with Dynamically Positioned Vessels and has successfully completed training for Basic DP. He has run vessels from 15' to 260'. Capt. Bunton's entire offshore career was with Edison Chouest Offshore based out of Galliano, Louisiana who own and operate some of the most advanced vessels in the world and lease these vessels to large oil and petroleum companies like BP and Shell. Edison Chouest Offshore vessels are the only vessels allowed into LOOP (Louisiana Offshore Oil Platform), they have two Ice Breakers in the Antarctic and have the largest Anchor Handling Vessel in the world. This experience along with many other life achievements has given Capt. Bunton the knowledge and expertise to help educate and place individuals into the world of offshore employment.
